RE : Subversion events?

Is this in any way changed in version 2.5?

One of the failed glories of Libresource is that it could be perfect as content-project community front end but the life of the versioning server has to be there.

We tried with so6 but it turned out to be far too fragile (a pity!). We're back at subversion, which works well, but awareness of the subversion events should be integrated within the community life seen in the timeline. I have extended a little XSLT to produce RSS out of SVN (with post-commit-hooks) but that cannot be integrated, that I know of, as a stream of life in a libresource node, or?
